We work out of a shop on Condon Way in Hopedale, and our towns are the ones we have always driven: Milford and Bellingham next door, Franklin and Medway up the road, Hopkinton out west, Needham, Wellesley, Westwood, Medfield and Mansfield toward Boston. When a spring lets go at seven in the morning, the difference between us and a company dispatching from an hour away is whether your car makes it out of the garage that day. Saturday hours mean a Friday-night break does not sit there all weekend either.

It depends on what broke. A spring, a cable, an opener motor and a bent track are all different jobs, and the door itself changes the price: a heavy insulated double door costs more to work on than a light single. We quote the job before we start, over the phone for the common ones and in person for anything complicated, and the number we give you is the number on the invoice.
Most repair calls are seen the same day or the next morning, and our Saturday hours catch the Friday-night breakdowns. If your car is trapped or the door will not close, say so when you call, because those jump the line. Planned work like new doors is scheduled around your calendar instead.
Both, in almost every case. Springs are installed as a pair and wear as a pair, so when one lets go, the other is weeks to months behind it. Replacing both in one visit costs less than two separate calls, and it keeps the door balanced, which is the part that matters for safety.
The visit itself is usually a few hours, door out and door in, old one hauled away. What takes longer is the ordering: stock doors can be in within days, while a specific color, window layout or insulation package can take a few weeks. We tell you the real lead time when we quote it, not after you have committed.
