Hopedale grew up around the Draper Corporation loom works, and it is one of the best-preserved company towns in New England: whole streets of solid, early-1900s worker homes around the Hopedale Village Historic District, most with garages tacked on decades after the house itself. Almost always. A lot of the garages here were added to houses that settled generations ago, so we measure the opening as it really is and shim, adjust and seal to it rather than forcing a door into a shape it does not fit. Careful fitting is most of the job on the older stock.
